On September 15, 2021, the Asian Management and Development Institute Consulting Consortium (AMDI, the leading member of the consortium - Vietnam) and COTETEC Equipment Co., Ltd (Laos) signed a consulting contract to supply support services for the implementation of projects on Watershed Irrigation Management and Sustainable Rural Infrastructure in Luang Prabang and Xayaboury provinces worth USD 1,476,904 with the Department of Irrigation, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos.

The Project on Sustainable Rural Infrastructure and Watershed Irrigation Management is a project using ADB's ODA loan and implemented within 7 years by the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The scope of the project is in 6 provinces, including Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Xayaboury, Xieng Khouang and Houaphan.

The consulting contract to support the project implementation between the AMDI - COTETEC consortium and the Lao Water Resources Department was implemented in two provinces of Luang Prabang and Xayaboury within 72 months from September 2021 to September 2027 with the goal of coordination. and support PPMUs of Prabang and Xayaboury provinces to implement project activities.
