On December 10, 2021, the Asian Management and Development Institute (AMDI) and GFA Consulting Group officially signed the consulting contract to support the “Strengthening Regional Coordination and Climate Resilience in the Mekong Delta funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) with a total budget of around 1,000,000 EUR.  

Maintaining its position as the leading consulting firm in Vietnam, AMDI continues to be trusted by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) to award the consulting contract to support the implementation of the Strengthening Regional Coordination and Climate Resilience in the Mekong Delta.   

The project will be started in January 2022 and lasts for three years until January 2025 within the framework of The Mekong Delta Climate Resilience Programme (MCRP) with the main outputs of establishing an institutional framework for the regional coordination of climate-resilient development of the Mekong Delta and improving investment planning of water resources management at the regional level for climate-resilient and gender-sensitive in urban and rural areas.

Since its establishment, Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) have been well-known as a focal operation area of AMDI. This consulting contract has affirmed AMDI's position in the DRM and CCA sector in Vietnam.
